More than a college. It’s a calling.
At Lifepoint College, go beyond the classroom to discover who God is calling you to be. Our program focuses on developing you in these four ways:
1. Spiritual - You the believer
2. Theological - You the minister
3. Character – You the person
4. Academic - You the scholar
“I remember thinking I wasn't good enough, but I was wrong. God called me. I'm more than enough, and so are you.
The Fredericksburg area, which includes the city of Fredericksburg and the counties of Spotsylvania and Stafford, is a classic blend of modern life with small town charm. Conveniently located along I-95, between Washington and Richmond, the area features a variety of chef-owned restaurants, numerous art galleries, a wide range of specialty shops, and one of America’s most authentic, historic downtowns.
Historic Downtown Fredericksburg features numerous specialty, retail, craft and antique shops in restored 18th- and 19th-century buildings. Outstanding cultural and entertainment events are presented by Mary Washington College as well as the Fredericksburg Theater Company. Ferry Farm, the boyhood home of George Washington, is in Fredericksburg.
The city operates several parks, including a 211-acre recreation area on both sides of the Rappahannock River. Four Civil War battlefields are maintained by the National Park Service, too. With acres of sprawing natural areas, you can do it all from hiking to waterskiing.
You'll never run out of things to do. History and many other adventures await you. From battlefields and museums to water fun, hiking trails and children's activities.
